We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various facilities, ensuring that all areas are neat, sanitary, and presentable. The ideal candidate will be punctual, self-motivated, and able to perform cleaning duties efficiently without supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and floors.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas, including hallways, offices, and meeting rooms.
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces such as desks, tables, and shelves.
  • Empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces as needed.
  • Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and kitchens.
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks periodically (e.g., carpet cleaning, scrubbing walls, polishing floors).
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes or running dishwashers if required.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damage to the supervisor.
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored after use.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Adhere to any specific cleaning protocols required by the facility (e.g., hospitals, schools, or offices).
Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Cleaner or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items if needed.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Education & Experience:

  • No formal education required, but a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous.
Work Environment:

  • Work in a variety of settings such as offices, residential buildings, schools, hospitals, or industrial spaces.
  • Some work may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals and working in potentially dusty or dirty environments.
  • Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends, depending on the needs of the facility.
Compensation: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
